Turkey and reflection
This month is the official start of the christmas season. It brings a time of merriment and joy for many people. But for others it brings sad thoughts that bring them to question their existence. Weather their life has any meaning at all or are they just there to exist and nothing more. This ties in with the questions we answered from Miller and Aristotle. Doth of these views were introduced to us on how to view life. I have been doing thins since I was about 8. So it is interesting to see how the differences and experiences in life alter those views.

ReplyDeleteYou have the start of all the elements you need for a monthly blog... a topic: existentialism and questions of existence; a literary connection: Aristotle and Miller; a societal connection: human emotions tied to a holiday, which is something existentialists would say we create to give ourselves purpose and meaning; and your own opinion: something about your own ponderings since you were 8.
But you really need to turn these four things into a full, well-developed, blog. :-)
